VIRTUOSO Artists Management

The virtuoso quartet Ensemble Punto It is a group that consists of soloists that think, conceive and make music together in new ways, carries out musical and interdisciplinary projects, in which theater actors and artists participate, together with performers such as Milena Vukotic, Maddalena Crippa and Marco Baliani.

The group commissions and performs original compositions of Italian composers (such as Azio Corghi’s "Fero dolore," which he dedicated to Anna Serova, that had its world premiere in the Spring of 2006 at the Trento Philharmonic Hall, conducted by Filippo Faes). They explore and rediscover a repertoire that is fascinating and forgotten, that of the Melologe Romanticism and of the nineteen hundreds (his Italian language premiere in Italy of the "Die Weise von Liebe und Tod aus Rilke" by Viktor Ullmann in 2001).

The Ensemble functions thanks to financial support from "Caoduro s.p.a." to make projects happen in Italy and abroad, doing research and putting together a dynamic and creative interaction between culture and the productive world.

In the Ensemble Punto It you can find some of the most important members of the international scene: the group was created and is directed by Filippo Faes, winner of the First International Schubert Competition in Dortmunnd in 1991 and one of the most profound and creative performers of his generation. Victoria Lyamina, soloist of "Helikon-Opera" Moscow Musical Theatre and of Moscow State Academical Philharmonic Society; she's also the winner of national and international competitions, as the First Prize at the "Rovere d’Oro" Competition in San Bartolomeo (Imperia-Italy), the Novyezvezdy lyrical and television-broadcasting competition in Moscow, etc. Babette Dorn " Excellent musician, attracts attention for the sensibility of its touch, rhytmical instinct, the clarity of the stylistic choices and the fluidity of the technique". (Thomas Brandis) Anna Serova, "...an exceptional personality that shine in the international chamber music scene...", "...I heard from her a deep philosophical and moving interpretation of the Shostakovic Sonata". Yuri Bashmet Paolo Ghidoni, winner of many competitions and concertmaster of the Virtuosi Italian; he is also the violinist of the Trio Matisse from its foundation. Piero Bosna, one of the best italian cellist and first cello of important italian orchestras (RAI of Milano, Solisti Italiani); he played with H.Szering, F.Gulli, P.Farulli, G.Garbarino, O.Ghiglia, etc.

At the execution of Johannes Brahms complete chamber music cycle (Società del Quartetto e Amici della Musica di Vicenza, 2002/2006), during five years, took part among the others Salvatore Accardo, Toby Hoffman and Rocco Filippini.

Numerous consents of public and critics have marked all the performances of the Ensemble that has already played in the more important Festivals and Italian seasons, between which the Società dei Concerti of Milano, the Festival Monteverdi of Cremona, the festival "Notti Trasfigurate" in the Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza, the Teatro Bibiena in Mantova, the Teatro "Carlo Felice" of Genova, the Amici della Musica of Palermo, the Teatro "La Fenice" of Venezia, the Teatro Filarmonico of Verona, the Filarmonica di Trento, etc.
